Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled C4I Communications Engineer to join our team at Dalma Tech2. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient, secure, and continued installation/operation of electronic communication systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. System Integration and Maintenance

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integration and maintenance of voice, data, wire, and wireless communications in the total communications infrastructure.

System Planning and Implementation

The candidate will provide input into plans for ensuring the integrity, security, and proper maintenance of electronic systems, and will implement these plans and procedures.

Customer Support and Training

The candidate will assist the installation community in resolving system and programmatic issues, and will provide training to users and maintenance personnel.

Policy Development and Maintenance

The candidate will develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for electronic systems requirements, installation, upgrades, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and continuity of business operations.

System Performance Monitoring

The candidate will monitor system performance and capacity loading for efficiency and reliability.

Statement of Work and Testing

The candidate will participate in developing statements of work, requests for proposals, equipment specifications and requirements, and systems testing and acceptance.

Training and Development

The candidate will prepare On-The-Job (OJT) training materials and conduct training to personnel, when required.

Requirements
  1. Education

A minimum of Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Communications, Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering field.

Experience

A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in C4I communication systems and components in a military or security environment, and at least five (5) years of experience working as a communications engineer.

Skills and Qualifications

Effective writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, proficiency in the use of desktop applications, and experience in defining system architecture and documenting requirements and specifications using industry standards.

Technical Skills

Experience with satellite, microwave, PABX, wire, wireless, and data communication systems, and the ability to work independently completing multiple and often competing tasks.
