Job Overview

Kafou Energy Company is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to play a key role in the company's Energy Services growth. The primary goal of this position is to work directly with clients and serve customers by planning, executing, and closing projects in the energy field.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the design, installation, and testing of MEP and BMS systems to ensure compliance with project requirements and satisfy the client.
  2. Team Coordination: Coordinate the work of MEP subcontractors to maintain project schedules and resolve technical issues.
  3. Technical Review: Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documentation.
  4. Client Collaboration: Collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the project.
  5. Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports and identify potential issues or risks to the project team.
  6. Client Support: Address client concerns and provide technical expertise to resolve any issues.
  7. Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning process, ensuring the system is properly tested and commissioned.
  8. Handover Documentation: Prepare comprehensive handover documentation, including as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and warranty information.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  2. Experience: 3-7 years of experience in the MEP and BMS field.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Certification: PMP certificate is preferred.
  5. Technical Skills: Good technical background.
  6. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
  7. Skills: Team working skills.
Preferred Skills
  1. English Writing Skills: Good English writing skills (proposal making, correspondence) to make comprehensive offers.
  2. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with capability to negotiate and manage project plans.
  3. Technical Skills: Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Software Skills: Solid skills in MS Office Suite (Project, Word & PPT, Excel) are required.
  5. Renewable Energy: A background in the renewable field is a plus.
  6. Self-Organization: Highly self-organized and time-managed skills.
