About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join IBM as a Brand Sales Specialist, where you will play a key role in helping clients create a world with less repetitive work and more innovative decisions. As a sales professional, you will work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, and show them how IBM's industry-leading solutions will solve their problems while delivering value to their business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Client Management and Value Definition: Effectively manage client relationships, define IBM's value proposition, and engage key decision-makers.
  2. Sales Process Management and Collaboration: Oversee the entire sales process, with a focus on expanding new business opportunities, and collaborate closely with various IBM teams.

Requirements

  1. Tech Sales Success: Demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly in acquiring new clients.
  2. Business Acumen and Communication Skills: Possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
  3. Engaging, Compelling, and Influential Communication: Ability to communicate in an engaging, compelling, and influential manner.
  4. 4+ years practical architecture and design with Integration, B2B & API technologies.
  5. Competency in various languages (e.g. Java, C/C++, Python, R, Swift,.NET) and knowledge of J2EE.
  6. 3+ years in Consulting management role including, business development, mentoring, technology solutions development and relationship management.
  7. Experience with Business Infrastructure concepts and technologies (API, SOA, Microservices, ESB, SOAP/REST, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Azure, GCP, AWS).
