Job Overview

The Data Analysis and Modeling Manager will oversee the development and implementation of data models and analytical processes that support the organization's strategic goals. This role involves managing a team of analysts, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Strategy and Management:
    • Develop and implement data management strategies that align with organizational goals.
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of large datasets.
    • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security.
  2. Team Leadership:
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
    • Provide guidance on best practices and emerging trends in data analysis.
  3. Data Modeling and Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain predictive models to support program development and evaluation.
    • Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  4. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with program directors and other departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
    • Communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
    • Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders as needed.
  5. Reporting and Visualization:
    • Create and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Use data visualization tools to present data in an accessible format.
    • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to funders and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. 5+ years of experience in data analysis, modeling, and management.
  3. Proven experience leading and developing a team.
  4. Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Experience in the technology and digital transformation sector is a plus.
