About the Role

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for providing support to both domestic and international statutory audits, as well as ensuring compliance with local statutory reporting requirements for our international affiliate entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analysis of financial statements
  • Preparation of journal entries for assigned general ledger account groups
  • Monthly account reconciliations of the balance sheet accounts
  • Support for audit documentation and analysis
  • Training and support for junior staff
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month and year-end close process
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
  • High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
  • Professional command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
