Identifies and documents changes in scope.
Assists in determining the scope of procurement work, schedules, and budgets for the assigned projects, monitoring progress to maintain those procurements.
Assists in bid analysis to help determine supplier availability and capability.
Coordinates with other personnel from all technical support groups within the Company and from third parties.
Assists the assigned Project Manager in planning, directing, supervision, and controlling the execution of technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the project or study.
Ensures client criteria and scope are met.
Participates regularly in decision-making meetings with the client, design consultant and contractors.
Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
1. Design and Development
Contribute to Design: Assist in designing engineering solutions based on client or project requirements, including the creation of schematics, plans, and prototypes.
Product Development: Participate in the development of new products or systems, ensuring they meet specifications, functionality, and quality standards.
Testing and Prototyping: Conduct tests, experiments, or simulations to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of designs, products, or systems.
Problem Solving: Analyze issues or technical challenges and propose feasible solutions to improve existing systems or resolve design flaws.
2. Project Management Support
Assist in Project Planning: Help plan and track engineering projects, including the creation of timelines, resource allocation, and defining project milestones.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other engineering teams, including design, development, and testing, to ensure all project phases are aligned.
Monitor Progress: Keep track of project status, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Report any delays or issues to senior engineers or project managers.
Client Communication: Occasionally communicate with clients or stakeholders to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals.

Desired candidate profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering
  • Proficiency in using design software and undertaking / reviewing all associated calculations
  • Experience in reviewing third party designs and coordinating comments for approval
  • Experience of working within a multi-discipline team environment
  • Proactive approach to own activities and helping in other disciplines, as far as practically possible, to assist in PMO overall efficiency.
  • Proven working experience as a Project Engineer
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Project management and supervision skills
  • Decision making ability and leadership skills
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Saudi Nationals only.
