**Head of General Services & Supply Chain**For Saudi Arabia & Central Asia**

**Our Opportunity**:
Head of General Services & Supply Chain/Logistics for Saudi Arabia (sites in Riyadh/Jeddah and Jubail) and Central Asia region, including the two existing JV (STES in KSA and GTE in Kazakstan).

**What the role has to offer**:

- General services : management of drivers pool, all leased vehicles, telecommunication, others : conduct initiatives to set up a pool of drivers across the civil/defense activities and review the telecommunication policy to be consistent with AMEWA countries.
- Supply chain function includes warehouse management, logistics and customs clearance management: Warehouse (lease space and operate) plus storage at outsource facilities.

Team management to cover logistics and customs formalities (work closely with forwarders and local brokers)

Work jointly with both procurement and project teams

To be well updated on custom regulations and to share with all Thales entities and suppliers.

Careful selection of material transporters (local).

Definition and deployment of the logistic strategies for civil and defense projects in the region.

Optimizes the supply chain by identifying and solving process gaps and issues.

Supports the Bid Team in supply chain strategy and costing at the bid stage.

**About you**:

- 10-15 years of experience in similar activities
- Knowledge of Thales processes and tools for these functions
- Experience in multi-discipline and entities projects is a plus.

**PREFERRED SKILLS**
- Good verbal & written communication, presentation skills, questioning, listening and negotiating skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and a methodical approach.
- Time management skills
- Ability to take on responsibility and use initiative to prioritize and work effectively under pressure and to maintain deadlines
- Fluent in English, notions in Arabic and French is a plus.
