Dentist

Weare searching for a knowledgeable dentist who can provide a rangeof services to our patients. The dentist will meet with patients,assess their dental health, perform scheduled cleanings, handlecomplex procedures, such as root canals, extractions, and oralsurgery, and work with other staff members, such as dentalhygienists and assistance, to provide our clients with qualitydental services. You should also be able to assist in themanagement of the practice and promoting better oralhygiene

3Days Per Week

To be a successful dentist, youshould be caring, communicative, and experienced in diagnosing andtreating dental ailments. You should also be skilled with thevarious tools and procedures needed to correct dental complaintsand ensure the oral health of patients.
DentistResponsibilities:

Meeting with patients todiscuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings andother preventative procedures, and establish a plan for betterdental hygiene.
Performing dental procedures, such asextractions, root canals, and filling cavities.
Correcting bite issues and overcrowding.
Applyinghelpful agents to teeth, such as sealants or whiteners.
Prescribing medications for dental problems, such as painmedications or antibiotics.
Giving clients sedatives oranesthesia prior to administering treatments.
Orderingdiagnostic measures, such as x-rays, models, etc.
Usingtools, such as drills, probes, brushes, or mirrors, to examine andtreat teeth and mouth.
Keeping records relating to theoral health of patients and the treatments given tothem.
Managing and communicating with other staffmembers to provide care topatients.

RequirementsDoctorate of dental surgery or dental medicine.
SC Statelicense and malpractice insurance. New Grads AreWelcome
Additional experience, certifications, orlicensing maybe required.
Strong computer skills andexperience with healthcare databases and applications.
Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal lawsregarding dental and health care.
Excellent written andverbal communication skills, the ability to keep detailedrecords.
Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures,tools, and diagnostics.
Good managementskills.
