Documentation Specialist

700Apps is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a Project Documentation Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing, managing, and maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and update project-related information, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible. Your role will play a crucial part in supporting project teams and ensuring effective communication and knowledge sharing.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related documents
- Gather and organize project-related information from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Update project documentation as changes occur, incorporating feedback and revisions
- Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards, including formatting, naming conventions, and version control
- Distribute project documentation to relevant stakeholders and team members in a timely manner
- Manage the document review and approval process, tracking changes and ensuring timely responses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate the accuracy of project documentation
- Assist in the development and improvement of document management processes and tools
- Provide support in organizing and facilitating project meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and meeting minutes
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communication, or a related field
- +3 years of proven experience in project documentation or related roles
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and well-structured documentation
- Proficiency in document management tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
- Knowledge of version control and document categorization best practices
- Experience in the software or technology industry is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus
