- Develop strong and professional relationships with customer's operations, commercial, technical, and purchasing personnel to build up a long-term partnership.
- Assist in the identification of product application to various additional market sectors such as specific projects in the assigned regions.
- Utilize knowledge of potential market, applications, distribution channels to support the top management with the right pricing strategy and positioning of the traded materials.
- Develop account sales that meet the sales targets set by the company by actively participating in sales meetings and other scheduled events.
- Compile market information to validate sales targets and sales margin (supported by sales manager). Negotiate agreements with customers to attain the highest possible unit selling prices and profits by providing technical support to customers with inquiries regarding their purchases.
- Responsible for sales of cement and other building materials in the respective region through trader network and direct sales.
- Ability to work across department lines (Operations, finance etc) to effectively provide total customer solutions.
- Manage customer expectations of the product ordering and delivery process, credit agreement and payment terms and contribute to account receivables.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a sales engineer in building material or similar role.
- Min of 5 years of experience after graduation (at least 2 years in sales)
- BSc/BA in civil or architectural engineering
