Performance Management OfficerCompany Introduction:
We are a leading EPC contracting company in Saudi Arabia, specializing in power plants, substations, water treatment plants, industrial projects, and infrastructure development. As part of our commitment to continuous improvement and workforce development, we are seeking a Performance Management Officer to oversee and enhance employee performance, KPI tracking, and organizational effectiveness.
Position Overview:
The Performance Management Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring performance management frameworks across the organization. This role involves aligning performance objectives with company goals, evaluating employee productivity, and driving performance improvement initiatives to enhance workforce efficiency and organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Management Framework Implementation:
- Design and implement a comprehensive performance management system aligned with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for employees and departments.
- Ensure performance metrics are linked to company strategy and operational goals.
- Employee Evaluation & Appraisal Process:
- Oversee the annual and mid-year performance appraisal cycles.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on conducting fair and objective performance evaluations.
- Develop tools, templates, and guidelines for performance reviews and feedback sessions.
- Data Analysis & Performance Reporting:
- Analyze employee performance trends and provide insights to HR and senior management.
- Generate monthly and quarterly reports on individual and departmental performance.
- Identify high-performing employees for potential promotions and career development.
- Training & Development Support:
- Identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate learning and development programs.
- Collaborate with the L&D team to create performance-driven training initiatives.
- Assist in developing employee coaching, mentoring, and career progression plans.
- Employee Engagement & Feedback Management:
- Design and implement 360-degree feedback systems to enhance leadership and teamwork.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and recommend strategies for improving engagement.
- Facilitate performance-related discussions between employees and managers.
- Policy Development & Compliance:
- Ensure all performance management activities comply with company policies and labor regulations.
- Update performance policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality in handling performance-related data and employee assessments.
- Continuous Improvement & Strategic Initiatives:
- Stay updated with global best practices in performance management and implement enhancements.
- Recommend innovative performance improvement strategies to senior management.
- Support the digital transformation of performance management systems, including HR analytics tools.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- A Master's degree in HR or Performance Management is an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in performance management, HR analytics, or organizational development.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or EPC sector is preferred.
- Key Skills:
- Strong knowledge of performance management systems, KPIs, and employee evaluation frameworks.
- Proficiency in HR software (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar systems).
- Excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Performance & Competency Developer (CPCD) or HR-related certifications (SHRM, CIPD, HRCI).
