Requisition ID: 37681- Job Location(s): Riyadh, SADanfoss Power Electronics and Drives (DPD) is growing in Saudi Arabia and is seeking a growth oriented Country Sales Manager based in Riyadh, reporting to the Saudi Country Manager.

As the Country Sales Manager DPD, you will lead and drive the DPD sales team in Saudi Arabia towards achieving our growth objectives and developing effective sales strategies to engage our DPD customers. Your primary focus will be on sales coordination, collaboration within the team, and lead business growth in the Saudi Arabia.

Collaboration will be key, as you will work closely with our partners in the country to seize exciting opportunities.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Lead and drive sales and after sales for DPD product portfolio of frequency converters, inverters, soft starters, software, and services in Saudi Arabia,
- Preparing and managing strategic plans, budgeting, and reporting systems,
- Proactively managing and developing the portfolio of end-users, system integrators, panel builders, engineering & design firms, consultants, and contractors in Saudi Arabia and leverage Danfoss’ strength to grow our market share,
- Leading and developing a team of sales and technical support experts located in the country,
- Developing and managing sales in focus industry verticals including HVAC - R, water & wastewater, material handling, mining, food and beverage, marine, electrification, oil and gas and others,
- Accountable for the achievement of sales, price, profitability, and cost targets,
- Determining and managing the prioritization of customer activities,
- Giving input and recommending current/future customers’ needs of products, solutions & services to respective,
- Supporting the global, cross-divisional teams for the must win-projects in the country,
- Traveling throughout Saudi Arabia to meet with existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities and win orders,
- Remain knowledgeable of Danfoss’ products/services to facilitate sales efforts.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor’s or Master degree in engineering(preferable electrical) with 5 years of experience in leading sales teams,
- Preferred previous work experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries,
- At least 10 years of industry sales experience within a global company,
- Several years’ experience within the Drives industry,
- Experience managing and developing large complex customer accounts,
- Ability to think strategically and connect to the customer's business objectives,
- Experience with Salesforce (CRM system) is a must, to ensure full usage of digital sales tools,
- Experience in Account Management and Sales Development,
- Strategic planning and business case development experience,
- Willingness to travel as required,
- Fluency in both spoken and written English,
- Arabic language knowledge is an advantage.
