About This Job:
Astellas is currently hiring Key Account Associates with experience in Nephrology to be based in Saudi Arabia. The role will be reporting directly into the Nephrology Area Manager, Saudi Arabia & UAE.

Main Purpose of the Position:

- The Key Account Associate is responsible for the sales performance of the Astellas portfolio in the respected country through effective territory management, expert disease area and product knowledge and through the building of strong relationships with HCPs and payer organisations
- Meet the assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned portfolio and geography;
- Identify and close on business opportunities through active collaboration with team members;
- Continuously enhance therapy and market knowledge, sales and personal skills;
- Maintain the highest level of pharmaceutical business ethics;
- Maintain compliance with all appropriate regulatory requirements, applicable guidelines and SOP’s.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

- This role is for a Saudi National only.
- Proven direct field sales experience with a global pharmaceutical organization.
- Experience of working in a Pharma sales organisation or similar environment.
- Education to University level (preferably Pharmacy degree)
- Team oriented and collaborative working style

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

- Experience in launching new medications in the nephrology market within Saudi Arabia would be highly preferred.
- Experience with customers in both private / government sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to develop and maintain good working relations with internal and external stakeholders. Arabic and English language skills are essential
