ABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity. With ABB AbilityTM enabled digital solutions at its core, our extensive portfolio includes distribution automation products, switching, limiting, measuring and sensing devices, switchgear, modular substation packages, and related services. Lead local finance teams and acts as a Business Partner to the Marketing, Sales, and Service business managers.. to optimize financial performance for the organization under scope. Supports in making effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and recommends the most appropriate solutions to management.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Contributes to the definition of strategy for the responsible Sales, Marketing, and Service organization. Serves as a key partner for the relevant business leader in determining strategy for their area of
- responsibility.
- Translates the finance strategy into business plans and establishes measurable targets. Oversees the business planning and forecasting process for their area of responsibility.
- Evaluates the financial implications of various strategic decisions, builds scenarios, and recommends actions
- to mitigate risks.
- Identifies financial issues and advises functional management team on action plans and operational
- strategies to resolve.
- Drives appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency with special focus on
- profitability, demand analysis, go-to-market, Return on Investment (RoI), and sales efficiency.
- Ensures timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for
- improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for their area of responsibility.
- Ensures complete transparency in financial reporting and disclosures, as mandated by law and internal
- policies.
- Defines and implements internal controls for financial and non-financial operations.
- Identifies and communicates commercial and financial risks and opportunities from business propositions.
- Establishes and drives processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and
- business information.
- Ensures the quality of financial data and business information in line with defined standards and financial
- closing schedules.
- Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies,
- and processes in their assigned area.
- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB’s core values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.
- Promotes and enables collaboration across the respective organization and teams within ABB to maximize
- results.

**Your background**:

- Ideally, you'll hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- CPA / CMA or MBA is preferable
- 10 years of Finance experience, or alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and accounting.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Local Business Controller of an Engineer-to-Order business unit or equivalent complex project business.
- Structured and results-oriented Finance leader with analytical mindset.
- Change management experience and strong communication skills.
- Microsoft Office and solid SAP knowledge/experience (CO/FI).
- English is a must
- Arabic is preferable
