**Position: Operations Coordinator**
**Focus: Sea & Air freight**
**Salary: Depends on individual & interview performance**

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinates all domestic / International export / Import shipments bookings; works closely with all partners and ensures that shipments are handled as per the clients requirements.
- Receives Pre-alert for the shipments and update customers with same on time
- Monitors jobs on system and follow up it until close status.
- Tracks shipment ETA’s in advance in carriers tracking portal.
- Works closely with all carriers and ensures clients are advised timely on arrival of shipments.
- Sends arrival notice for the shipment min. 2 days prior to arrival of shipment.
- Updates status to Customers on status and delays in Arrival. Updates details in system.
- Checks B/L status (original or seaway BL) and freight details prior to arrival of shipment.
- Ensures all required shipping documents are received before arrival of shipment.
- Provide quotations to overseas partners and customers.
- Negotiate the rates with overseas partners, carriers, and local transporters to guarantee the best cost for customers inquires
- To create jobs in the operating systems.
- Liaise with Shipping lines, Airlines ,LCL operators and service providers, arranging release, delivery and payment of charges in a timely manner.
- Resolve service failures, delays or problems with partners, Shipping lines, Airlines, LCL operators and service providers to the satisfaction of the customer and the company
- Support the management and account managers/BDM’s by providing your experience and knowledge to enable them to develop new business opportunities and maintain good relations with existing customers.
- Work effectively with other team members to ensure good operating procedures and practice.
- Reporting to: Operations Manager

**Requirements**:

- Air / Ocean Freight Import or Export experience in freight forwarding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment
- Knowledge of all Import/Export regulations and documents
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and follow up skills
- Good connections within shipping lines
- Good written and spoken English
- Proficient in MS Office
- Minimum 2 years' working experience in Freight Forwarding

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ﷼6,000.00 - ﷼9,000.00 per month

**Experience**:
