**Our Client**: A leading FMCG company in the region.

**Your Role**: Your main focus will be to strategize and establish the framework for the Modern trade channel in the country. This entails working closely with key accounts to generate mutual value through activities such as joint business planning and setting clear performance expectations for achieving growth in value and volume. You will be responsible for negotiating trade terms, contracts, and collaborating extensively with marketing teams to develop plans for new product launches. Additionally, you will be involved in designing, developing, and implementing channel initiatives. Cultivating positive, long-term, and sustainable relationships with key management levels to support account growth and retention is crucial. Moreover, you will oversee Area Managers to ensure outstanding merchandising and the successful execution of business plans. Ultimately, you will bear the profit and loss responsibility for the channel.

**Must Have**: For this role, you should be a driven and tenacious individual with a demonstrated history of success in the consumer goods industry. As an effective communicator, you should possess exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities. Your skills in strategic thinking and prioritizing business requirements will be highly valued. Ideally, you should hold a graduate degree, preferably an MBA, and have a minimum of 15+ years of work experience in a reputable FMCG company. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
