Business Development Manager - Saudi Arabia

A well-known international engineering and manufacturing company is looking for a Business Development manager to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Business development manager will be responsible for development strategy and growth of the Railway and Metro projects throughout the kingdom. Saudi Arabia is our clients key target area because in the next 5 years there is large opportunities in urban cities transportation and infrastructure projects. We are looking for an experience Business Development Manager in Sales and Marketing Manager to join a busy team and to continue to shape and support our customer the future of Transportation in KSA.

Key responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Sales acquisition of the infrastructure projects plus the acquisition of smaller signaling projects of Saudi Arabia Railways or Saudi Railway Organization.
- Ensure the profitable growth of Mobility division in Saudi Arabia, till the project handing over to the execution team.
- Management of a team of area sales managers plus marketing activities including market intelligence.
- Select opportunities, propose partners, acquisition strategy in cooperation with Headquarter Sales team.
- Create, maintain and execute capture plans.
- Develop solid business relationship with our customer for long term business relationship

Skill set for the role:

- Academic degree in Engineering or related disciplines from reputable University
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing of transportation / infrastructure project (at management level) ideally from an international environment
- Strong networking within the industry and ministers in Saudi Arabia.
- Arabic as mother tongue with Fluent English, both technical and business English
- Excellent communication skills rounded by an outstanding business and growth mind set
- Target driven personality with focus on quality delivery
