Merchant Acquiring Product Manager

- Commercialization:
- Develop and execute critical portfolio initiatives to drive commercialization across segments.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Define business and commercial requirements for acquiring products and complete business cases for commercial sign-off and prioritization.
- Drive the implementation of acquiring product enhancements and new product rollouts.
- Evaluate and assess potential acquiring product and value-added service (VAS) partners.
- Update and draft Acquiring product manuals and departmental governance items, ensuring compliance with audit checklists.
- Product Development and Implementation:
- Drive the implementation of "Buy Now Pay Later" solutions on payment gateways and point of sale systems.
- Conduct presales demonstrations of products and serve as the product owner for allocated Acquiring products.
- Prepare sales toolkits and customize commercial offers and correspondence.
- Support sales campaigns, present at meetings as a pre-sales consultant when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with legal, credit, and regulatory requirements.
- Merchant Performance Management:
- Create and maintain daily, monthly, and quarterly merchant performance monitoring dashboards based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Monitor partner and supplier's performance.
- Act as a key point of contact between the organization and product partners, resolving operational and service-related issues.
- Collaboration and Reporting:
- Collaborate regularly with internal departments to support the delivery of their business and operational strategies.
- Provide monthly analytics and intelligence reports to the Product team.
- Regularly interact across internal departments to help deliver their business and operational strategies.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the payments sector, with a focus on Merchant Acquiring solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in management information (MI) tools.
- Proven experience in product strategy and go-to-market planning.
- Experience in product commercialization within the payments sector, including wallets, point of sale (PoS), mobile, and eCommerce products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage external supplier relationships and interactions.
- Comfortable working in a matrix organization across multiple locations and geographies.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to collaborate effectively with IT and operational teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly competitive with a track record of achievements.
- Hyper-logical thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Strong academic background, including graduate and post-graduate degrees.
- Proficient in breaking down complex problems into smaller components and working with data.
- Self-driven and accountable for results.
- Experience in UX/UI design interfaces (a plus, but not preferred).
- Familiarity with working as a Product Manager in a SCRUM/Agile environment.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Fintech experience would be a plus.
- Minimum graduate degree from a reputable institute.
