**Key Responsibilities**:
- Build and lead a team of highly effective business development managers, tasked with growing the sales revenue, by increasing the number of merchants utilising the platform across the SME space
- Train, manage and mentor the sales organisation, setting targets, measuring KPIs and building sales processes to facilitate the business growth
- Promote the business as an industry leader, embedding yourself in the country's ecosystem, networking extensively across customers, banks, technology partners, government, regulatory organisation and multinational companies.
- Enable your team to Identify & prospect promising merchants and prospects that will help grow a healthy pipeline across various verticals.
- Sell cross-borders payment solutions and services to eCommerce merchants through cold calling, networking, fairs etc.
- Help new merchants evaluate and handle detailed questions about their product capabilities.
- Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants.
- Orchestrate the entire Sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders from initiation to close.
- Maintain a solid, well-organized portfolio and nurture key accounts.
- Partner with other Sales Managers to share best practices, key business insights and industry trends.
**Background & Experience**:
- 10+ years Sales experience in the Payments, financial services or IT industry.
- Exceptional sales leadership qualities
- Solid network of potential prospects and partners.
- Tech-savvy, with a passion for Technology.
- Solid business acumen and awareness of financial factors.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation skills and techniques
- Highly organised and able to prioritise shifting workloads and responsibilities effectively.
- Fluent in English & Arabic is essential
