BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer to work with our team at Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition consultancy specializing in recruitment solutions for various industries, including building management systems (BMS), construction, infrastructure, energy, and technology.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting building management systems to ensure their functionality, performance, and efficiency in commercial and residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement automation systems for various industrial, commercial, and residential buildings.
- Create application programs for controllers in accordance with SOPs for various equipment.
- Develop HMI graphics for handheld operator displays and servers.
- Prepare AutoCAD/Visio schematic drawings, network drawings, shop drawings, panel layout drawings, and control drawings for BAS projects.
- Prepare technical submittals and logic of operations for automation projects.
- Estimate high-rise commercial, residential towers, and industrial buildings for building automation system projects.
- Coordinate with distributors and customers.
- Create project timelines and commissioning reports.
- Install and program BMS controllers and IO modules in accordance with equipment specifications.
- Test BMS control panels and hardware.
- Conduct pre-commissioning tests and commission HVAC automation control.
- Commission and calibrate field equipment in accordance with industry standards.
- Integrate BacNet and Modbus protocols with various devices.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and document technical, modification, commissioning, and checklist documentation.
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of BMS systems.
- Integrate third-party systems on various platforms.
- Maintain time and quality of work.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in BMS testing and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of building management systems and their components.
- Familiarity with BMS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
- Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
