Electrical Commissioning Manager

About the Role:
Merge Recruitment Agency is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Manager to join our team. As an Electrical Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, power systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and fire alarm systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, power systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and fire alarm systems.
- Review engineering drawings, P&ID, and single line diagrams, and provide RED line markup drawings.
- Develop testing and commissioning works scope of work for different industrial and substation projects.
- Maintain DCS, BMS, and SIS systems and electrical power protection systems.
- Supervise the commissioning team to carry out pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per systems and sub-system boundaries and markup drawings.
- Coordinate with the construction team and subcontractors for executing the testing and commissioning work.
- Commission HVAC/MEP in Oil & Gas, Petrochem, buildings, and other large industrial plants construction.
- Organize, plan, and manage a team for timely execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities as per project and contract requirements.
- Review project scope and specifications to develop strategy for pre-commissioning, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams for timely and efficient execution of punch list items.
- Coordinate with construction and QA/QC teams for timely and efficient execution of all pre-commissioning tests and ensure all records are signed by the client and properly maintained as per project requirements for handover and closeout.
- Manage the team efficiently.
- Coordinate with the client to identify and agree on systems and sub-systems handover requirements and ensure construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning teams follow the same sequence.
- Plan and coordinate with vendors and suppliers for timely availability and supervision as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Years of experience in large construction projects.
- Very good user of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Very good English communication skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
