Junior BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled BMS Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Eram Talent, a leading talent acquisition consultancy specializing in recruitment solutions for various industries, including building management systems (BMS), construction, infrastructure, energy, and technology.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Implementation: Design automation systems for various industrial, commercial, and residential buildings, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Application Programming: Create application programs for controllers in accordance with SOPs for various equipment, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
- Graphic Design: Develop HMI graphics for handheld operator displays and servers, enhancing user experience and system functionality.
- Project Planning: Prepare AutoCAD/Visio schematic drawings, network drawings, shop drawings, panel layout drawings, and control drawings for BAS projects, ensuring accurate and detailed documentation.
- Technical Submittals: Prepare technical submittals and logic of operations for various automation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Estimation and Coordination: Estimate costs for high-rise commercial, residential towers, and industrial buildings for building automation system projects, coordinating with distributors and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Project Management: Create project timelines and commissioning reports, ensuring efficient project execution and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Installation and Testing: Install and program various types of BMS controllers and IO modules in accordance with equipment specifications, testing BMS control panels and hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Commissioning and Calibration: Commission and calibrate all field equipment in accordance with industry standards, ensuring accurate and reliable operation.
- Protocol Integration: Integrate BacNet and Modbus protocols with various devices, ensuring seamless communication and data exchange.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare weekly progress reports and document technical, modification, commissioning, and check list documentation for review by the project manager.
- Supervision and Quality Control: Supervise the installation and commissioning of all BMS systems, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to industry standards.
- Third-Party Integration: Integrate third-party systems on various platforms, such as BACNET and Modbus Protocol, using system mapping details.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in BMS testing and commissioning.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of building management systems and their components, familiarity with BMS protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and LonWorks.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team environment, willingness to travel to project sites as required.
