About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled GIS Installation & Commissioning Supervisor to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY LTD. As a key member of our business, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation, repair, and commissioning of high voltage systems worldwide.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the installation and commissioning work entrusted to you, ensuring it is carried out in perfect technical order.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with installation requirements and instructions, and ensuring that necessary accident prevention measures are observed.
- Responsible for red-marking drawings or documents with any changes or modifications that become necessary during the installation.
- Advising sub-suppliers' installation superintendents on planning and coordination of work force necessary to comply with the schedule.
- Cooperating with PG Project Manager on establishing status of completed and non-completed work.
- Inspecting arriving material for completeness and possible damage, and coordinating material handling in cooperation with sub-suppliers' Material Control within sub-supplier's procedures.
- Issuing non-conformance reports for damage or missing equipment within PG scope of supply in cooperation with PG Project Manager.
- Supervising final installation and commissioning tests, and PG installation completion documentation. Supervising and coordinating loop check activities and participating at site meetings as requested by the PG-CH Project Manager.
- Responsible for the competent execution of your tasks.
- Employee shall also carry out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill the job requirements.

About You
- A bachelor's degree or higher diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 4 - 8 years of experience with GIS Installation & Commissioning preferred.
- Strong experience with SF6 GAS-Handling. PGHV-CH GIS Product knowledge preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
