Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead and oversee the successful delivery of programs and program components at TAHAKOM. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects and programs, ensuring proper governance, compliance, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Strategy and Planning
    • Develop and implement program strategies and roadmaps to support alignment with the company's overall objectives.
    • Establish program plans and provide input to departmental goals that support business unit strategic plans.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify required projects to meet future business demands.
  • Budget Management
    • Participate in the program budgeting cycle and provide input to the budgeting process.
    • Ensure effective utilization of the program budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered.
    • Track budget utilization across all program and program components.
  • Program Initiation and Planning
    • Manage the development of program roadmaps, scope, objectives, and budget ensuring quality and accuracy of output.
    • Prioritize and combine projects under the program based on set criteria ensuring integration of interdependencies.
    • Manage resource allocation across the program ensuring timely communication of needs and requirements to secure best-fit program resources.
  • Program Management and Control
    • Define and monitor program benefits and ensure periodical updates of the benefits register.
    • Monitor continuous projects' execution ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
    • Manage program risks, issues, and conflicts, and propose appropriate corrective action to mitigate potential risks and deviations.
  • Program Reporting
    • Consolidate developed program reports highlighting areas of improvement and raise to higher management for decision-making purposes.
    • Develop periodical reports on program performance identifying gaps and ramifications and recommending corrective actions to mitigate risks and minimize operational interruptions and target achievement.
  • Process Management
    • Recommend improvements to the department's policies and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity, ensuring relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality and cost-effective results.
    • Develop program management processes and ensure alignment with department policies, processes, and procedures.
  • People Management
    • Identify, assess, and support recruiting key talent for the project team.
    • Manage and assist subordinates to perform their functions in accordance with set policies and procedures.
    • Guide and mentor project managers, associate project managers, and project coordinators as part of their continuous development.
    Requirements
    • 6 years and above of relevant experience, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar managerial/supervisory position.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is desirable.
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferable.
