Job Title: Program Controls Director

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage Project Controls Effort: Develop, manage, and execute all phases of the project controls effort, including cost management and reporting.
  • Lead Project Controls Team: Manage a team of Project Control specialists who are qualified to analyze, evaluate, and forecast project costs and performance against an established schedule with critical milestones.
  • Establish Master Coding Architecture: Lead the establishment of the program master coding architecture, integration of all functional requirements, and development of a robust, scalable reporting system across the program.
  • Implement Best Practices: Guide the development and implementation of project controls procedures to support the implementation of best practices, primarily for schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management processes.
  • Manage Master Development Schedule: Manage and oversee the preparation and progress of the Master Development Schedule.
  • Coordinate Staffing Requirements: Coordinate staffing requirements, assigns and supervises project work activities, and trains personnel.
  • Perform Performance Reviews: Completes performance reviews and provides personnel development goals and opportunities for the assigned employees.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field).
  • Experience: 20+ years of related experience, including supervisory/managerial experience.
  • Cost Management: Strong cost management and reporting background is required.
  • Engineering Knowledge: Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related fields.
  • PC Skills: Proficient PC skills, including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to perform in a supervisory capacity.
  • Industry Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of industry practices is required.
