We are 10 Design, part of Egis' Architecture Line, a dynamic and innovative architecture and master planning practice. About the RoleThe Business Development Manager will support the Managing Principal Europe and MENA for all issues relating to Business Development for the firm across the Middle East.
Key Objectives- Identify potential projects and collaborate with the Managing Principals on the preparation of submissions for competitions and awards as agreed with the Managing Principals;
- Coordinate and prepare tender submissions including pre-qualifications, expressions of interest and requests for proposals;
- Responsible for submission coordination and preparation;
- Maintain and update the Company's extensive electronic database of tender submissions and frequently-used key submission information;
- Research and identify business development opportunities;
- Perform all other duties as required with the nature of the role.
- Degree educated or relevant years of industry experience;
- Proven track record of success in sourcing and converting opportunities to contract;
- Previous working experience and knowledge of the architectural industry is highly desirable;
- Ability to communicate professionally across all levels, both internally and externally;
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- Ability to build relationships at all levels;
- Sound commercial acumen - able to work with integrity, ensuring matters are dealt with confidentially;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills; Excellent command of written and spoken English;
- Organized and able to multi-task and prioritize;
- Professional manner and approachable.
