About This Role

This Technical Support Engineer position at HERE Technologies offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge location data and technology. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to customers, driving customer success, and improving the functionality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Resolve customer technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive resources for the developer community, including code samples, tutorials, and technical articles.
  • Lead incident response and escalation efforts, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Promote customer-centric innovation, driving improvements to our product portfolio through customer insights and requirements.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Substantial experience with SQL, GIS, DBMS.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, Python.
  • Mastery of mobile application development, APIs, SDK (iOS/Android).
  • Familiarity with location technologies including map tiles, geocoding, search, navigation, GPS, routing, positioning, rendering, and traffic.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • At least 5 years of technical experience, with 2+ years in technical pre-sales, customer support, consulting, or similar roles.
  • Native Arabic speaker.
  • Fluent in English.
