Sales Director

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Director to spearhead our growth strategy in the Saudi Arabia market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, with expertise in P&L management, key account handling, and commercial negotiations.
The successful candidate will drive the company's market presence, establish a strong foothold, and unlock new business opportunities. They will take full ownership of P&L management, optimize the order book pipeline, and develop long-term strategies for year-over-year growth.
In this role, you will ensure sustained profitability through strategic planning and execution. You will also prepare and maintain lists of customers in market segments, select key target accounts, and develop sales/market actions plans. Additionally, you will manage key accounts to increase business volume and liaise with clients to analyze their requirements and develop order strategies.
You will review and discuss competitive technical and commercial quotations, communicate with suppliers to assess their capabilities, and develop sourcing strategies. You will also gather intelligence on competitor activity and calibrate strategies accordingly.
To be successful in this role, you will need 8+ years of experience in business development/sales in the specialty chemicals sector. You should have strong expertise in P&L management, key account handling, and commercial negotiations. A deep understanding of the UK specialty chemicals market and supply chain dynamics is also required.
A proven track record in client acquisition, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships is essential. You should also possess excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
