We're a leading retailer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, offering an extensive range of products across our 1.5 million square foot retail space.

This exciting opportunity requires a seasoned professional to oversee vendor relationships, manage performance, and drive drop ship strategy. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve onboarding targets, optimize vendor throughput, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Select and approve vendors, ensuring optimal assortment, pricing, and service level agreements.
  • Develop and maintain vendor compliance policies, including SLAs and chargebacks.
  • Select and approve drop ship assortments, reviewing category opportunities and evaluating item feasibility.
  • Drive drop ship strategy, working closely with merchants, vendors, and drop ship providers to maximize throughput.
  • Collaborate with providers and tech teams to develop and test processes, implementing new platforms and enhancements.
  • Implement new carriers and providers, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Ensure smooth 'go live' transitions, proactively escalating critical timeline delays.
  • Continuously optimize drop ship performance through troubleshooting, vendor reporting, and education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Understanding of retail landscape and 'best practice' systems and functionality.
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
  • At least 7 years' experience in drop ship or e-commerce operations.
  • At least 7 years' experience in retail or B2C roles.
  • At least 7 years' experience in commercial category management, preferably with a large marketplace.
  • Technical aptitude with web-based tools and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate to Advanced in Microsoft Excel).
  • Understanding of business and ability to foresee and react to strategy impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and execute company goals.
  • Proven ability to provide sound business judgment and influence others.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels.
  • Demonstrated success implementing operational processes in a dynamic e-commerce business.
  • Demonstrated success recommending strategies backed by metrics and analytics.
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative environment and inspire teamwork.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and take on additional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate strong resource workload and capacity management skills.
