The Business Development Director will play a crucial role in driving our growth strategy and identifying new business opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and results-driven professional to join our team.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement a business development strategy that drives growth and expansion.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging expertise in market analysis and relationship building.
  • Maintain a strong brand presence through effective digital marketing and corporate identity management.
  • Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and achieve team objectives.
  • Prepare and present financial forecasts, KPIs, and business development reports to senior management.
  • Develop and submit high-quality proposals and bids, ensuring compliance with client requirements and internal standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring ALMAD's interests are protected.
  • Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients, government agencies, and industry partners to secure repeat business and build ALMAD's reputation.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or similar) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in business development within the Saudi Arabian construction and energy industry.
  • Proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and securing significant construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian construction market, including regulatory frameworks and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
