Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Assila a Luxury Collection Hotel Jeddah. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all food-related functions, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency in our culinary offerings, and driving business growth through innovative menu development and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of culinary professionals to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
  • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the evolving tastes and preferences of our guests.
  • Collaborate with our purchasing and receiving teams to source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Monitor and control food costs, labor costs, and other departmental expenses to achieve budgetary targets.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our culinary team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 6 years of experience in the culinary industry, or 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or related field and 4 years of experience.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing culinary teams and driving business growth through innovative menu development and exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of culinary professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding guest expectations.
