Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team at Hilton Worldwide, Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and present high-quality dishes within company guidelines, ensuring consistency and excellence in every aspect of food preparation.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene standards to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the quality of our food.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and stored correctly to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including front-of-house staff and management, to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain excellent working relationships.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards, and make recommendations for improvement where necessary.
  • Cost Control: Assist in controlling costs, improving gross profit margins, and achieving departmental and financial targets.
Requirements
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate: Possess a valid Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, demonstrating your commitment to food safety and hygiene.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Culinary Experience: Have previous kitchen experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of culinary techniques and procedures.
