About the Role

At Amazon, we're looking for a world-class sales professional to join our team as a Principal Account Manager, focusing on the oil and gas sector.

This role requires building and maintaining key relationships, developing and managing opportunities, and engaging remote resources. You will work closely with the account team to provide business leadership and management, defining a CXO relationship strategy within accounts, including executive sponsorships, coordinating business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent. They will be responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the accounts and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Build strategic relationships within the accounts, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting all business groups.

  3. Work with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams, and Professional Services) to support customer interests.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of technology-related sales, business development, or equivalent experience and 7+ years of selling in the oil and gas industry. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
