Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Account Relationship Manager to join our team at Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority.

  1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with AEOs & listed organizations to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  2. Stay up-to-date with changes in WCO, zakat, and tax rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to clients.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to develop account management strategies and methodologies to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  4. Review and enhance account management standards, SLAs, forms, processes, and procedures to ensure client-centric approach.
  5. Evaluate new applications and documents from customers requesting to join ZATCA's AEO list, collect necessary information, and recommend approval or rejection decisions.
  6. Perform relationship management activities, apply excellence in customer servicing, and represent ZATCA to maintain and expand positive relations with clients.
  7. Schedule regular meetings and visits with clients to gain industry expertise and acquire additional information to support field audits and improve data in risk-engine.
  8. Process AEOs & listed organizations' applications by reviewing documents, identifying additional needed information, providing advice on clarification areas, and coordinating with internal functions for prompt processing.
  9. Handle technical inquiries and mediate between clients and internal functions to facilitate service delivery and safeguard satisfaction.
  10. Maintain compliance levels with applicable policies and procedures, recommend action plans for detected breaches, and ensure high level of compliance is maintained.
  11. Provide valuable information and content on zakat/tax/customs tariffs and rates to safeguard clear understanding of dues and excises.
  12. Support in resolving complaints and concerns, provide precise technical responses to clients, and coordinate with internal stakeholders.
  13. Follow up with clients' declarations, collections, refunds, penalties, evaluations, etc., to inform and update clients accurately.
  14. Maintain coordination with security and risk functions to share valuable information on clients' accounts.
  15. Maintain and update AEOs' related database, preserve information, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  16. Develop consolidated reports for each client summarizing filing progress, queries, issue resolutions, interactions, and visits.
  17. Analyze clients' risk surveys, financials, and returns filed against benchmarks to determine compliance levels and escalate high-risk findings to the related department for further investigation.
