This role involves providing administrative support to ensure the effective functioning of municipal operations, including council support, meeting coordination, and reception services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative assistance, including typing correspondence, maintaining office files, and taking minutes at meetings.
  • Support the Council by maintaining confidential records, arranging payment of honorariums, and researching and assisting with policy development.
  • Coordinate meeting packages and attend Board meetings to record minutes.
  • Offer reception services, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing calls.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
