Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to support our mission by ensuring the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, as well as production procedures. The ideal candidate will be a firm advocate of quality and possess a trained eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities

  • Quality Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation.
  • Quality Procedure Development
    • Formulate procedures to inspect and report quality issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Quality Monitoring
    • Regularly monitor all operations that affect quality, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Preventative Measures
    • Implement preventative measures to prevent health hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Quality Checklists
    • Ensure checklists are met on a regular basis, guaranteeing consistency and reliability in production.
  • Audits and Inspections
    • Conduct regular audits on the production floor and with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments to address quality and safety issues, promoting a culture of transparency and accountability.
  • Root Cause Analysis
    • Implement root cause analysis with suppliers to identify and address quality issues promptly.
  • Quality Cycle Efficiency
    • Inspect procedures of the entire production cycle to ensure they are efficient and comply with quality standards.
  • Food Safety Strategy
    • Implement and maintain a food safety strategy, goals, and objectives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development
    • Train the team on food safety and implement policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations.
  • Work Environment
    • Ensure work environments are adequate and safe, promoting a positive and healthy work culture.
  • Brand Representation
    • Project a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community, upholding the company's values and mission.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Biological Sciences, or a related field. The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and communication skills in English, with a strong attention to detail and a results-driven approach.
