Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Richemont. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics functions, including managing day-to-day logistics tasks, liaising with Richemont Subsidiaries, and handling special imports and domestic distribution activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import Operations
    • Validate shipping documents in accordance with customs regulations
    • Obtain necessary approvals from customs, DGR shipments, SC Certificates, CITES, SABER exemptions, SFDA, etc.
    • Track shipments from origin to final delivery, managing approvals and communications with involved parties
    • Coordinate with customs clearance agents upon arrival of shipments
    • Claim reported discrepancies with origin, clearance agents, and insurance company as per company regulations
    • Follow up and coordinate with finance department on duties payment and deposit refund
    • Data entry and tracking on relevant applications used by the group and department
  • External Ops & Local Distribution
    • Control and track CAPEX shipments from origin to final delivery, managing approvals and communications with involved parties and external vendors
    • Manage external warehouses under Richemont Saudi Arabia Logistics team control
  • Local Transfers
    • Coordinate with Security Transportation for all goods movement, including inbound and outbound shipments
    • Coordinate and monitor goods movement between boutiques and workshop center in alignment with group policy and transportation directives
    • Handle goods transfers between cities (RUH, JED & DMM) through proper shipping mode (land, domestic airfreight or courier)
  • Special Shipments Handling
    • Coordinate with relevant authorities and 3rd parties to attain required approvals for Cites Shipments, Fragrance Shipments, etc.
    • Maintain proper tracking and data entry in group ERP software and approved tracking methods, providing regular reporting

Logistics Function Governance

  • Work with Compliance & LOG OPS to draft and update existing SOPs related to the market for all supply chain activities
  • Ensure fulfillment of all Internal Audit requirements related to Logistics Department
  • Maintain, update, and control KPIs of all Logistics external Vendors on a regular basis

Requirements

  • Educational Background
    • Bachelor's degree/high diploma in Business administration, Supply Chain, or other operational relevant field
  • Technical/Work-based Skills or Specific Knowledge (Must Have)
    • English fluency in speaking and writing
    • Arabic is a plus
    • Computer skills and knowledge of MS Software
    • Knowledge of local customs regulations
    • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years in such position or other operational field
