Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for proactively managing customer relationships, managing opportunities from current and new customers, and closing deals in a way that meets customer needs and maximizes KONE's order book and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Relationship Management
  • Develop and create customer relationships in your area of responsibility.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and solve complaints with the rest of the KONE team.
  • Document and maintain customer and contact information.
  1. Sales and Business Development
  • Accountable for leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet the sales budget and pricing targets.
  • Proactively generate opportunities from outside the current customer base.
  • Find customer needs and KONE's solution matching those needs.
  1. Contract Management
  • Responsible for pricing using the approved tendering tools.
  • Validate that the contents of the contract are in line with the negotiation process outcome.
  1. Communication and Collaboration
  • Maintain full information of opportunities, tasks, and visits, while keeping CRM up to date.
  • Collaborate with the KONE team to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve complaints.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in an engineering role, with working experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Team player with strong follow-up and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated and organized.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with CRM.
  • Knowledge of project management is a plus.
