About the RoleAs a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving sales budget in targeted territory through the promotion of Pharmanovia products by establishing strong relations with healthcare professionals and communicating key brand marketing messages through daily calls, presentations, and scientific engagement.
The role requires an understanding of business dynamics and purchasing process within the account, building sustainable relationships, developing, and implementing specific plans to enhance market accessibility to achieve targeted revenues for the territory. You will ensure adherence of the Pharmanovia values and policies, and to local business conduct requirements and legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate key brand messages through daily calls to healthcare professionals, meetings, and scientific activities
- Build sustainable relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders in the territory
- Achieve sales force effectiveness KPIs in terms of call target, frequency, and coverage
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant therapy area including market trends, clinical data and practices, in addition to local and international guidelines
- Provide accurate and comprehensive market feedback on competition
- Develop an understanding of the key account's business dynamics including purchasing process, formulary inclusion/listing and decision making
- Develop and execute partnership strategies with key accounts, setting achievable short and long-term objectives including inclusions, optimising stock level, defining a specific value proposition per account
- Establish tracking process for inventory, consumption, and sales orders per account
We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 2 years' experience in a pharmaceutical sales role in Saudi Arabia, including promotion and key account management.
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceuticals
- 2 years+ of experience working in a customer-facing role, ideally in an organisation whose products are marketed and sold via agents and distributors
- Good knowledge of local customer/accounts, including managing mature brands and introduction of products to local markets
- Understanding of local healthcare environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong analytical, numerical, and strategic thinking skills
- Proven negotiating skills, with the ability to construct a persuasive argument from a well-researched analytical understanding of data
- Collaborative worker with strong interpersonal, motivational and influential skills
- Ability to work in a fast, dynamic environment; drive, high energy, maturity, ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Strong personal management/leadership skills, including time management, workload prioritisation, responsiveness, multi-tasking and flexibility
- Financial awareness, commercially astute and entrepreneurial
- Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written
