Job Overview

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of Calo's Warehouse by monitoring receivings, handling products and supplies efficiently, and maintaining accurate records.

Main Responsibilities
  • Verify packages according to order and invoices, ensuring quantity, quality, and price accuracy.
  • Organize and store received items in designated areas.
  • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts.
  • Monitor and analyze shelf life and aging of goods in the warehouse.
  • Review and monitor product codes/descriptions to ensure accurate master data.
  • Conduct weekly wall-to-wall inventory counts and troubleshoot quantity discrepancies.
  • Use Microsoft Office tools to monitor demand and document inventory characteristics.
  • Analyze data to anticipate future needs and alert buyers about potential out-of-stocks.
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections of raw and packaging materials to ensure compliance with Calo's Q&FS standards.
  • Monitor RM/PM tests, report non-compliance, and communicate with the SC team.
  • Report deviations/discrepancies to suppliers and the supply chain team, and follow corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on suppliers' performance evaluation.
  • Conduct regular audits of RM/PM in the CWH for storage conditions and FIFO/FEFO implementation.
  • Communicate with suppliers and the supply chain team for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of quality and food safety standards in the CWH.
  • Implement checks for supplier trucks to ensure compliance with Calo's Q&FS standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring the smooth implementation of GWP and internal audits and readiness for external audits (HACCP, ISO, Personal Hygiene, SFDA).
Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a Quality Specialist with previous experience in inventory and receiving roles, preferably in the food industry. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Knowledge of inbound logistics processes in KSA and familiarity with ISO certification standards are advantageous.
