Compensation and Benefits Specialist

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Compensation and Benefits Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing compensation and benefits programs that align with our company's goals and objectives. You will analyze market data, conduct benchmarking studies, and make recommendations to ensure our compensation and benefits offerings remain competitive and attractive to current and potential employees. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of compensation and benefits best practices, and a passion for supporting employee success.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and analysis to determine competitive compensation and benefits package offerings
- Develop and implement new compensation and benefits programs, including base pay, incentives, and retirement plans
- Evaluate and administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, dental plans, and retirement savings plans
- Collaborate with HR team to ensure compensation and benefits programs are properly communicated to employees
- Analyze compensation data to identify trends and make recommendations for adjustments or changes
- Provide guidance to HR and management on pay decisions, policy interpretation, and job offers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our compensation and benefits programs remain competitive
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience working in compensation and benefits analysis or similar role
Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data
Knowledge of compensation and benefits laws and regulations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HRIS systems, payroll software, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Strong understanding of compensation models, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to create detailed reports and present findings to management.
Soft Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex compensation scenarios.
Strong communication skills to explain compensation programs to employees and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing data and developing reports.
