**Job Summary**:
The Food Safety & Quality Specialist supports the implementation and maintenance of food safety and quality assurance programs. This role involves assisting with inspections, compliance checks, and staff training to ensure that food products meet established safety and quality standards.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Assist in conducting food safety inspections and audits of food handling processes, equipment, and facilities.
- Support the implementation of food safety programs such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Participate in monitoring and recording food safety and quality data, identifying areas for improvement.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Provide basic training and support to staff on food safety and hygiene practices.
- Assist in investigating food safety and quality issues, and contribute to the development of corrective actions.
- Keep up-to-date with food safety regulations and best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Collaborate with senior team members to prepare food safety and quality reports for

management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.

**Core Competence**:
**Qualification**:
1-3 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related field.

Internships or academic projects in food safety or quality management are advantageous.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Public Health, or a related field. Basic certifications in food safety, such as HACCP or ServSafe, are a plus.
