Based in Saudi Arabia, you will own the customer base to drive growth of our key brands, including
Controls & Software ,
ASCO ,
AVENTICS ,
TOPWORX and
TESCOM reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (Western Region).


You will be responsible for the growth and development of new and existing business in the assigned territories (Saudi Arabia & Bahrain) coving both industrial & commercial sectors.

The generation of new business in this aspect covers sales to all customers, OEM's, EPCs & Contractors, System Integrators, and end users of all major segments including, but not limited to O&G, Petrochemical, Power & Water, Clean Energy, Metal & Mining, Machine/Factory Automation, transportation and Analytical & Medical.


Your role responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Be responsible for all direct sales in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Develop and extend relationships with existing and potential customers and maintain close relationships with key customers.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure Discrete Automation products and service & solutions are meeting their requirements and expectations.
  • Collaborate with other Regional Sales and Business Development Managers, sharing information and business opportunities.
  • Proactively reacts to customers' RFQs, POs, OAs, and follow up Customer Service to deliver at earliest.
  • Review the market potential & compile a strategy and action plan to maximize market potential and achieve targets.
  • Execute agreed action plans to achieve the objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity in the assigned region on a regular basis. And report any concerns and suggested solutions and any opportunities and suggested action plans to the line manager.
  • When engaging with a new local distributors, resellers, or direct business ensure the due diligence documents are completed and approved by the legal department.
  • Continue to manage and support the local distributors provide technical and commercial support.
  • Prepare and deliver sales and technical presentations to internal & external stakeholders.
  • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars directly of in conjunction with local distributors.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner aligned to the Emerson values and ensure all activities comply with both legal and ethical standards.
  • Development of sales account plans for key (Saudi & bahrain) customers.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise for assigned products and for the industry.
  • Proactively and continuously inform and motivate existing and potential customers to secure budgeted sales/profits and customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate, monitor and approve product pricing and commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Develop Executive level relationships with strategic customers and decisionmakers in the assigned area of responsibility and routinely conduct customer visits.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pneumatics (fluid power & fluid control) in addition to Machinery Automation Solution, PLC Automation and SCADA to support the distributors and customers.
  • Build coalitions with BDMs and GPPP/GP3 Sales on targeted project pursuits.
  • Work closely with other Emerson BUs and maximize cooperation and joint project activities: SWD, STO, LSTA,..etc
  • Focus on generating more of Service and Solution (cabinets, panels, Stands, customized,..) that shall reduce the project cost and maintain high reliability and safety.
  • Deep knowledge of system architectures and performance factors relevant to sustainability, strong knowledge on carbon emission calculations is a plus.
  • Act in line with Emerson's core values support and cooperate with Customer Service.
  • Ensure compliance of workplace safety rules, including but not limited to the usage of a personal protective equipment, if provided to you, while working; not involve in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger peers or oneself; reporting unsafe work conditions and providing suggestions to improve safety/ health at work, as needed.

What do I need to be considered for this role?

  • Engineering Degree, Instrumentation & Control System Engineering, or other related field considering deep knowledge in pneumatics components & PLCs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in local Arabic language and English speaking.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales & Business Develop Role.
  • Working experience with OEM, EPC & SI are an added advantage.
  • Strong system solutions selling skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Direct and interactive computer skills and electronic business interfaces, including Microsoft Office, ERP and CRM system.
