The Country Manager is responsible for leading company Foods' business in Saudi Arabia, with full accountability for the market's strategic direction, financial performance, and operational execution. The role drives business growth within the food service channel, by overseeing commercial, category, supply chain, and support functions, while ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Define and execute the strategic direction in the KSA market.
  2. Lead the development of business plans to drive market share, profitability, and brand visibility in the food service segment.
  3. Act as the senior representative of the company in Saudi Arabia and maintain strong alignment with the CEO and executive leadership.
  4. Stay ahead of market trends, consumer needs, and competitor activities to shape future business strategy.

Commercial & Category Management:

  1. Lead the commercial function to ensure effective sales execution, customer relationship management, and revenue growth.
  2. Oversee the development and execution of category strategies across key food categories: protein, dairy, bakery, condiments, and beverages.
  3. Ensure the Category Managers are optimizing product assortment, pricing, promotions, and market positioning in alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
  4. Promote close collaboration between category and sales teams to strengthen market performance and customer satisfaction.

Supply Chain & Operations Oversight:

  1. Oversee supply chain operations including logistics, warehousing, and inventory management to ensure reliable and efficient product delivery.
  2. Oversee the implementation of best practices for demand planning, cost optimization, and service excellence.
  3. Anticipate and manage operational risks to ensure continuity and quality of supply.

Financial Performance & Accountability:

  1. Take full P&L responsibility for KSA operations, ensuring alignment with budgeted targets and corporate financial goals.
  2. Review and analyze financial and operational data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
  3. Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process for the Saudi market in coordination with the group finance team.

Support Function Oversight:

  1. Ensure effective performance and integration of support functions such as HR, Finance, Government Relations, Legal, and Administration.
  2. Foster a compliant, efficient, and people-focused culture that aligns with local laws and corporate standards.
  3. Champion talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  2. 15+ years of leadership experience in FMCG or food service, with proven strategic, commercial, and financial expertise.
  3. Strong understanding of category management and sales dynamics in the Saudi food service market.
  4. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering sustainable business results.
