Job Description:

The Community Partnership Specialist will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mission of Culture House by fostering relationships with local organizations, stakeholders, and community members. This junior position requires an individual with a deep understanding of community engagement strategies and cultural awareness, to identify and integrate cultural programming that aligns with the interests of diverse community groups. The Specialist will be responsible for executing outreach initiatives, building sustainable partnerships, and measuring the impact of community collaborations. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that the programs developed resonate with and serve the unique characteristics of the community.

Job Requirements:
  1. A Bachelor's degree in Community Development, Social Work, Communications, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in community engagement, partnership development, or a related area, preferably within a non-profit or cultural organization.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of cultural competency and diversity principles, with a focus on incorporating these values into community programs.
  4. Proven track record in planning and executing community outreach initiatives that foster collaboration and engagement among diverse groups.
  5. Strong analytical skills to assess community needs and measure the social impact of partnerships and outreach efforts.
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  7. Familiarity with community assessment tools and methodologies for evaluating program effectiveness.
  8. Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  9. A valid driver's license may be required for travel to community events and partner locations.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and cultivate new partnerships with community organizations, schools, and local businesses to expand Culture House's reach and impact.
  2. Conduct outreach efforts to promote community programs and events, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all community members.
  3. Develop and implement initiatives to engage underrepresented or marginalized groups within the community.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of community partnerships and programs, employing data-driven assessments to inform future initiatives.
  5. Organize and facilitate workshops, meetings, and events that promote collaboration and empower community members to take active roles in programming.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for community initiatives with Culture House's overall mission and strategic goals.
  7. Prepare regular reports on the status and outcomes of community partnerships and engagement efforts for management and stakeholders.
  8. Maintain a clear and open line of communication with partners and community stakeholders, addressing any concerns or feedback proactively.
  9. Assist in the development of promotional materials that highlight community engagement efforts and results.

  5. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify obstacles and develop effective solutions in partnership-building efforts.
  6. Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with community stakeholders.
  7. Proficient in using various digital platforms and social media to promote outreach initiatives and community engagement strategies.
  8. A commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the areas of community engagement and cultural competency.
  9. Flexible and adaptable to changing environments and community needs, demonstrating resilience and creative thinking.
