Shopper Insights are an enabler of DX solutions. Our objective is to drive shopper insights as a key sales enabler. He/ She to understand and analyze Shopper behavior across channels and categories (Pen, Freq, Basket Size, Shopping Mission etc). What shoppers are buying and synthesize the insights in a clear and concise manner. Insights feed into BU DX Category Diagnostics and BU DX Precision Execution (Perfect Store). Creativity and problem solving are very important traits to succeed in this role.

**Responsibilities**
- Work upon requirements of shopper studies to understand shopper behaviour across channels and the portfolio.
- Update shopper decision trees for the channels and suggest future shopper study requirements.
- Developing and rolling Planograms as per shopper behaviour then product format.
- Studies regarding creative POS and impact on the shopper behaviour. Devise strategies to deploy most effective POS materials by channel type.
- Improving merchandising performance in TT & WHL channels through setting merchandising standards and developing innovative merchandising tools that reflect on sales volume and visibility.
- Collecting and analysing all relevant information about competition.
- Cost effectively validates the in-store vision/ sales drivers by analysing existing data or by implementing store tests. Use these insights to develop the plan and to bolster the retail performance standards.
- Monthly update ACNielsen reports and drive the analysis with sales management from shopper point of view.

**Qualifications**
- Ideally working experience of 2-3 years in a FMCG environment.
- Commercial awareness - strong knowledge of what's important/needed by Sales to develop Selling tools and stories.
- Strong verbal and written communication as well as facilitation skills - Confidence to lead and direct discussion across all levels. Ability to engage and enthuse others with clear, concise communication to reach decision and recommendation.
- Relationship building skills and ability to influence - Ability to influence at all levels and build relationship with key stakeholders including Marketing, SC, HR and Finance.
- Project Management - ability to pull together, manage and lead cross-functional teams. Build critical paths, communicate clearly and maintain focus & momentum against key initiatives.
- Organisational ability - managing workload effectively, strong analytical skills.
- Understanding of use of insights/selling capability.
- Very Good English and Arabic language skills
- Results Driven (results based on specific efficiency and productivity KPIs within predefined time frames)
