**The Opportunity**
This is a unique opportunity for a make-it-happen doer looking to make their impact with the execution of a large scale fintech focused demo day event as well as an executive level, 5 day bootcamp. You will have the opportunity to join our innovation and accelerator program practice team to execute events for one of our flagship corporate clients in Riyadh. You will learn by being part of that process at AstroLabs and by engaging with some of the region’s best startups and digital companies that we work with.

You will report to the Innovation and Acceleration Partner and you will interact frequently with the Management Team and various team members across the different business units. Whether you are an experienced event manager interested in building a career at a startup or a digital company or looking for a public facing role executing exceptional events, this role can get you there. Although this role is currently project based, it has the potential to turn into a permanent role across multiple career path streams within AstroLabs such as:
Path 1 - Operations centric: Operations Manager - Director - Chief of Staff
Path 2 - Programs Delivery centric: Program Manager - Program Director
Path 3 - Events Centric - Event Director Programs - Event Director AstroLabs

**The Role**
- Responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution and delivery of a Demo Day in Jeddah in February. This includes:

- Recruiting and managing all third-party vendors
- Recruiting and managing all staffing requirements for the event
- Liaising with the client and the client’s event management team
- Fully responsible for delivering the event at budget and on schedule
- Fully responsible for the creative direction of the event and the attendee and VIP experience
- Ensuring the smooth transitions between sessions of the agenda
- Responsible for flagging areas of concern during preparation phase
- Owning the logístical elements of the agenda including: microphone transfer, onboarding and offboarding stage, preparation for the MC
- Responsible for the logistics and execution of a 5 day executive bootcamp in Jeddah
- Responsible for a showcase event in Riyadh
- Arranging the travel and accommodation for visiting companies
- Recruiting and managing all third-party vendors
- Recruiting and managing all staffing requirements for the event
- Liaising with the client and the client’s event management team
- Fully responsible for delivering the event at budget and on schedule
- Fully responsible for the creative direction of the event and the attendee and VIP experience
- Ensuring the smooth transitions between sessions of the agenda
- Responsible for flagging areas of concern during preparation phase
- Owning the logístical elements of the agenda including: microphone transfer, onboarding and offboarding stage, preparation for the MC
- Building playbooks, processes and templates for the execution of future demo days and other large events
- 3+ years' experience executing large scale events in a senior management position
- Ideally an established track record of executing demo days and other large ecosystem/startup events, bootcamps and conferences
- You’re an effective project manager with a proven track record of execution of detailed, complex events with zero balls dropped
- You’re a Doer. You get stuff done and follow them through to completion no matter what.
- You’re also a Strategist. You get the full picture and you’re able to devise strategies and initiatives to reach the target outcomes.
- You’re a structured, systems and process thinker able to design and implement systems and process the manage and measure work without compromising creativity and flexibility
- You have outstanding communication skills both verbal and written, you can communicate through slides, well-structured sheets and present to the client.
- You know how to navigate complex organizations, working with multiple parties and stakeholders to achieve results
