**Role Overview**:
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading our client's sales team and distributor partnerships in Lebanon. The opportunity to expand to other markets, as you build the business. Your primary focus will be on bring best practice to the business with regards to sales process and leading teams, with the aim of driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the poultry and ruminant segments. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and exceed revenue targets. You will have a high level of financial acumen and will be able to budget and forecast well.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market presence and drive revenue growth in the poultry and ruminant segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with your suppliers, key customers, and industry stakeholders to understand their needs and address their requirements effectively.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on market trends and emerging opportunities.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry trends to stay informed and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services and enhance brand visibility.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Animal Science, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the poultry health and nutrition industry.
- Proven track record in a distributor environment, collaborating with industry suppliers to deliver sales in local markets
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with customers and partners.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of the poultry and ruminant segments, including industry trends, customer needs, and competitor landscape.
- Fluency in English and Arabic languages is required.
