Summary
The Market Lead is responsible to lead the Saudi Arabia In-market sales and set the proper commercial strategies to drive performance and growth in the country. He/ She must demonstrate and have the right set of capabilities and leadership profile to be able to deliver & implement the required short term & long-term objectives. Ultimate responsibility for P&L in the country. Key leadership position in the country for internal and external stakeholders. Responsible to maintain and develop healthy relationship with the Distributors.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Sales & Commercial Management teams in the country.
- Preparation of the annual budget and Business plans for the country.
- Manage business performance of Saudi Arabia.
- Plan, develop, implement strategies, and tactics for generating revenue and resource optimization.
- Ensure implementation of the Company Policies and Values across all markets
- Ensure commercial strategies are in place.
- Ensure cross functional collaboration with marketing, regulatory, finance, medical and relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for attracting, recruitment and retention of talent in Management level roles.
- Ensure effective tools, mechanisms are provided to the team to track and develop individual performance and potential in order to meet business objectives.
- Act with Integrity.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences or its equivalence.
- Holding an MBA is an advantage.
- Minimum 15 years of sales/business experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum 5 years of Management experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Strategic roles.
- Experience in managing P&L, launching new products, and managing product life cycle.
- Experience in market access, government affairs is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Arabia market is required.
- Strong Communication skills to persuade managers and leaders to take action and negotiates with external partners, vendors, and customers.
- Demonstrated team player/dedicated to building a team culture that values, recognizes, and generates high performance, supports innovation, and challenges the status quo.
