Job Description: Business Development Manager - Law Firm

**Reports To**: Managing Partner/Director of Operations
**Location**: Jeddah
**Job Summary**:
The Business Development Manager will lead efforts to identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities for the law firm while fostering long-term relationships with existing clients. The role involves strategic planning, market research, client engagement, and implementing initiatives to enhance the firm’s visibility and revenue.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Strategic Planning**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan aligned with the firm's goals.
- Identify target markets, sectors, and clients to expand the firm's practice areas.
- **Client Acquisition and Retention**:
- Build relationships with prospective clients through networking, events, and direct outreach.
- Strengthen existing client relationships by identifying new service opportunities.
- **Market Research and Analysis**:
- Conduct research to understand market trends, competitor strategies, and client needs.
- Provide insights and recommendations to partners for business growth opportunities.
- **Proposal and Pitch Development**:
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with legal teams to create winning strategies for client acquisition.
- **Networking and Relationship Building**:
- Represent the firm at conferences, seminars, and industry events to increase visibility.
- Develop partnerships with industry organizations, business leaders, and influencers.
- **Brand Development**:
- Work with marketing teams to enhance the firm's profile through campaigns, publications, and media.
- Ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all communication channels.
- **Performance Tracking and Reporting**:
- Set and track KPIs for business development initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership on business development activities and results.
- **Collaboration**:
- Partner with attorneys to understand practice areas and tailor strategies to their strengths.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for promotional activities and materials.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of legal industry trends and client needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and business development tools.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
